Regional Resource Centers
Our Regional Resource Centers (RRC) take CPSG tools and principles into a region or country, allowing RRC members to adapt our proven conservation techniques to meet their own unique needs. We believe that this freedom to shape the work of the RRC according to the needs of the culture, society, and services of the individual country is a requirement for successfully addressing the sheer magnitude of the problem of biodiversity loss.
Each RRC has a host institution supporting it and the equivalent of at least one staff person dedicated to the work of CPSG who attends monthly RRC meetings.
RRCs are an essential component of the global CPSG network and are critical to CPSG’s ability to be effective around the globe as facilitators of conservation.
Regional Resource Partners
CPSG's Regional Resource Partners (RRP) are dedicated volunteers who promote CPSG's work within their regions and actively seek relevant conservation planning projects. Each region's lead partner also attends the monthly RRC meetings.
