Natasha is an ecologist and has worked in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa with a focus on raptor conservation and is a member of the IUCN Species Survival Commission’s Vulture Specialist Group. She has worked in conservation both in-situ in the field monitoring wild populations, and ex-situ in captive breeding centres with reintroduction programmes. She recently finished her PhD which focused on using complex models to study the spatial ecology and threats of African vultures. Her interests are in data-driven decision making, developing tools for effective conservation, and community-led conservation solutions. She joined CPSG in 2022 as their Multi-species Conservation Planning Program Officer.
